A hardy, fast growing hedging variety.

Long living, with many decades of growth.

Good frost resistance.

Can be left to grow to their full height, or contained by regular pruning.

Great for screening, hedging, feature plantings, pots, topiary, bonsai, windbreaks, stock shelter belts etc.

Full sun to semi-shade.

Foliage: Dense mid to deep green foliage.

Height: Approx 20 metres.
 

Can be hedged in at 2-15 metres in height.

Will grow between 50-80cm per year (some growers/sellers say over 1 metre per year, but we haven't witnessed this).

Planting guide: Plant 1 to 1.5 metres apart for a quick, dense hedge.

If you have the time, you can plant them further apart.
 

To hedge even faster for privacy, plant close together at 0.5 to 1 metre apart, then remove every second tree when they crowd each other.
