Being part of the pea family, they help create their own food by fixing nitrogen from the air back into the soil.

Fast growing and very hardy.

Drought and frost resistant once established.

Will wind itself around supports etc to climb up.

Can also be successfully used as a groundcover.

Position: Full sun to quite shady areas.

Foliage: Deep green, glossy, eucalyptus-shaped leaves. Evergreen.

Flowers: Masses of dark purple pea flower clusters in Winter and Spring.
