Bottlebrush 'One Sided' Grey Leaf Form x 1

Calothamnus quadrifidus

Hardy, fast growing shrubs that are endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.
 
Its name 'One Sided' alludes to the arrangement of the stamens of its inflorescence, which line up on one side of the stem.
 
Very popular due to its dense growth habit.
 
Drought tolerant once established. Will be able to handle long periods without rain.
 
Frost tolerant to around minus 4 degrees.
 
Can be pruned back quite hard.
 
Will attract birds to your garden.
 
Great for native gardens, hedging, screening, rockeries, pots etc.
 
Full sun to semi-shade. Able to grow in a wide range of soils.
 
Grey toned, pine-like foliage with fine soft hairs.
 
Crimson flowers from mid-Winter to early Summer.
 
Height and width: Approx 2-4 metres.
