This listing is for the evergreen, deep pink/dark mauve flowering form of this variety.

A fine foliaged, fast growing and hardy variety that has pink/deep mauve flowers en masse.

The 5 petaled, cupped tulip-shaped flowers range from 6 to 8cm wide. 
 
Flowers from Spring to Summer.
 
The pictures surrounding this listing are of some different aspects of this variety. 
The flowers are slightly more mauve than the pictures show.
 
The shrubs will grow to approximately 2 metres high and 1.5 metres wide.
 
Can be left to themselves or can be trimmed and trained into desired shape.
 
A beautiful addition to gardens.
 
Able to adapt to a wide range of soils as long as they are well drainded. If drainage is poor, bring in a 10 to 15cm layer of sandy loam topsoil and plant direct into that.
 
Ensure that they are not planted in swampy areas.
 
Does not like high humidity.
 
Mild frost tolerance.
 
Drought resistant.
 
Many uses including being used as screenings, borders, scattered plantings, features, hedge etc.
 
Attracts birds and native fauna to your garden.
 
Can be pruned back and hedged.
 
Also beautiful in flower arrangements.
 
Full sun to light shade.
