Eremophila maculata var. brevifolia

Very hardy flowering Australian native shrubs.

Magnificent abundant red to deep pink flowers that are born on a shrub that can grow to around 1 metre tall and wide.

The name Eremophila is derived from the Ancient Greek ἐρῆμος (erêmos) meaning "lonely" or "desert" and φίλος (phílos) meaning “dear" or "beloved”[9] alluding to the species' adaptation to arid environments.[10] Wikipedia

These are a very hardy variety  that are native to Western Australian open woodlands.
Widely used in garden plantings across Australia.

They also make great hedges.

Long flowering between April and November.

 Withstands mild frosts.

 Full sun to light shade.

 Drought resistant once established.

Can be used in arid, dry positions in your garden, but will also do well in moist places as long as the drainage is good.
