Also known as New Zealand Rock Lily, Rengarenga Lily


Beautiful New Zealand flowering Strap leaved plants with a history of medicinal, herbal and food uses throughout Maori history.

Likes most conditions.


Tolerates coastal air and dry spells.

 
Will attract birds to your garden.

 
A great specimen plant, bordering shrub or potted color

In frost-prone areas, please grow in protected areas such as under trees, against buildings etc.

Broad leaves, strap foliage that grow to around 30-60cm long and 3-10cm wide.

An abundance of yellow-centred white flowers, formed in clusters that rise on stems above the foliage in late Spring and Summer.

Height: Approx 1 metres.

Can be kept at a lower height by giving a light prune to the taller uprights, to encourage sideways growth.
