A hardy, fast-growing native shrub with smoke-coloured foliage.
Drought resistant once established.
Frost resistant to minus 9 degrees.
Can be hedged and shaped.
If left alone, it will grow quite tight.
Great for hedging, topiary, bonsai etc.
Position: full sun to semi-shade.
Grows in a wide range of soils including quite poor and/or coastal.
Evergreen foliage: glossy, tight, smoke-coloured leaves, the colour bei
ng caused by fine hairs, which are a natural water-saver.
Similar shape to rosemary.
Flowers White.
Height to approx 1.5 metres.
Can be hedged from 30cm onwards.
