A small growing, hardy native shrub that has flowers in mid Winter through Spring.
The foliage also has a beautiful sweet scent that releases its fragrance when brushed or the leaves are crushed.
Great to plant through out your garden and near walkways so that when people brush past they experience both its colour and fragrance.
Being part of the Rutaceae family relates them to the citrus plants. Hence the beautiful fragrance of flowers and leaves
They have white to light pink 10 to 20mm, five petaled citrus scented flowers that are waxy in appearance and are framed by the deep green foliage.
The buds are a deeper pink.
This variety is also often used in the floral industry due to its beautiful fragrance and flower structures.
Great for cut flowers in Mid winter to Spring.
Can be trimmed hard or softly as they will grow back well.
Grows to 1 to 1.5 metres in height (approx).
Bird attracting.
A hardy variety that is quite drought tolerant when established.
Full sun to semi shade. Protect from the afternoon summer sun.
Will also grow well in semi shaded to quite shady areas as well as being successfully used as an understory plant.
Able to withstand medium frosts.
