Important Information
The acid levels in the soil will greatly determine the flower colour of this hydrangea variety.
Acidic soils bring out the blues, lilacs and purples.
Neutral soils bring out the reds and pinks.
Alkaline soils bring out reds and burgundy centres.
To increase acid levels in your soil you can add aluminum sulphate and this brings out the intense blues of the variety, and for the pinks and reds please add lime. This need to be done before blooms form. Or you can just simply plant them straight into the soil and just let the natural soil pH levels determine colours.
We work hard to try and ensure our notes on the variety/varieties listed are true and correct, but do not accept any responsibility for errors or information that may have occured either by my staff or or myself.
