Also known as Needlebush, Bushy Needlewood
The plants you will receive in this listing will 15-25cm tall, be in individual 40mm x 80mm pots, will have established roots and will be ready to plant into your garden.
Not for Western Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory or outside of Australia Mate!!!
Drought and frost resistant once established.
Will attract birds to your garden.
Great for informal hedging, screening, windbreaks, scattered plantings, native gardens, rockeries, street trees etc.
Position: Full sun to semi-shade.
Foliage: Spiky leaves. Evergreen.
Ornamental nuts are produced in clusters on stems after flowering finishes.
Height: Approx 5-7 metres.
Maintenance: To form a tighter shrub, cut new growth tips every 6 months. This will cause plants to send out more lateral growth.
Hedging guide: to create a denser screen, cut 1cm off each growing tip every 6 months for 2 years. This will encourage multiple shoots, which will help to create a thicker screen.
