 Tolerates drought, frost, wind, boggy areas and coastal conditions.

Bird attracting.

 Uses: include streetscapes, swampy areas, windbreaks and mass plantings.

Full sun to semi-shade.

Evergreen.

Stock can eat the foliage.

Flowers: February and March. Male flowers are reddish-brown; female flowers are red with small cones.

Height: Approx 10-35 metres (approx 20 metres in Melbourne).

Width: Canopy up to 10 metres.
