Also known as Rainbow Bush, Dwarf variegated Jade or Porkbush
 

An attractive, slow growing succulent shrub that is native to South Africa.
 
 
Generally self-sufficient once established, but needs protection from frosts.
 
 
Has reddish-brown stems that become interwoven as the plant ages.
 
 
Can be trimmed and trained into shape.
 
 
A popular bonsai variety.
 
 
Great for rockeries, hanging baskets, pots, bonsai, indoor plantings, feature plantings etc.


Position: Indirect sunlight when grown indoors.


Good drainage is essential.


Only lightly water in Winter when the plant is semi dormant.

 

Foliage: Glossy green leaves approx 1.2cm in length, variegated (striped) with cream.
 

Flowers: Small mauve/pink flowers in clusters, usually in Winter.
It will generally take around 5-8 years to flower.
