They can grow 1-2 metres a year in the first two years if given good conditions.

They can grow 3 metres a year after the first couple of years.

A great hardwood timber variety with a wide range of uses: construction, heavy indoor and outdoor furniture, firewood and paper pulp.

Amongst the world's most planted trees for the production of essential oils.

Tolerates hard frosts, drought, heat quite well once established.

Mature leaves are 15-30cm in length.

Cream-coloured flower clusters.

Height: 15-30 metres depending on position, soil and water conditions.
