The image for this listing is not of the Parzifal Hydrangea as I have not been able to find a copyright free image to use.
But it is good reflection of what this variety will be as it matures.

 Important Information

Acid levels in the soil will greatly determine the flower colour of this Hydrangea variety. (Many people are content to plant them straight into their chosen positon without adding anything to the soil and letting the natural soil condition determine their own colours, whilst other people want a specific hue and will work on their soil to influence the flower colours.)

Acidic soils bring out the blues and purples.

The majority of soils in Australia are acidic.

Alkaline soils bring out pinks to reds.

To increase acid levels in your soil you can add aluminium sulphate, ferrous sulphate or pine needles to bring out the intense blues of the variety.

For greater alkalinity add powdered lime, wood ash or powdered shell.

This need to be done before blooms form.

We work hard ensuring our plant descriptions and notes are as accurate as possible, but accept no responsibility for errors.
