I have not been able to work out if this variety is a true mophead or lacecap variety?
Different sources contradict each other?

The plants you will receive in this listing will be 12-18cm tall, will be in individual 50mm x 70mm pots, will have established roots and will be ready to plant into your garden.

Not for WA, Tasmania, NT or outside of Australia Mate!!!

Most hydrangea are deciduous, which means that they will lose some or all of their leaves in Winter and will reshoot in Spring.
We often cut them back to 5-10cm in the cold dormant months of the year.

Pale pink flowers in neutral to alkaline soils. Soft blue in acidic soils.

Pretty double sterile flowers late Spring/Summer.

Quite hardy, but for best growth, please keep out the hot afternoon sun in the hot months

Foliage: Glossy large green leaves.

Wildlife interest: Bird and bee attracting.

Height: Up to 1 metre (approx), rarely to 1.4 metres.

Width: 1 metre (approx).

Deciduous.

They can be cut back hard in late Autumn and they will reshoot in Spring.

Uses: Pots, tubs, verandah, bird habitats, scattered plantings, mass plantings, cut flower, cottage gardens, coastal areas.

Important Information

The Acid levels in the soil will greatly determine the flower colour of this hydrangea variety.

Acidic soils bring out the blues, lilacs and purples.

Neutral soils bring out the reds and pinks.

Alkaline soils bring out reds and burgundy centres.

To increase acid levels in your soil you can add aluminum sulphate and this brings out the intense Blues of the variety and for the pinks and reds please add lime.

This need to be done before blooms form.

Or you can just simply plant them straight into the soil and just let the natural soil ph levels determine colours.

We work hard to try and ensure our notes on the variety/varieties listed are true and correct, but do not accept any responsibility for errors or information that may have occured either by my staff or or myself.
