Pink Cascade Leptospermum Flowering Tea tree Shrub plants
Not for Western Australia, Northern Territory or Tasmania
Hardy Australian native groundcover plants that flower long and profusely.
Thought to be a cross between Leptospermum lanigerum polygalifolium and Leptospermum scoparium or Leptospermum continetale.
Low growing/prostrate cascading shrub that grows to around 45cm tall and around 1 metre round.
Its weeping habit makes it a great ground cover, rockery plant, bank planter, pot plant, balcony, mass landscaping and for many other places throughout your garden.
Leptospermum are also called Tea Trees even though many of them do not actually become trees.
Profusely covered in 5-petalled, 12 to 20mm wide soft pink flowers in Spring and Autumn with flowers found throughout other times of the year.
Dark green fine foliage.
Tolerates a wide range of soil, but performs at its best in well drained moist soils.
Will also grow in coastal areas.
Once established this cultivar is quite drought and frost hardy.
Works well in scattered or mass plantings.
We work hard to try and ensure our notes on the variety/varieties listed are true and correct, but do not accept any responsibility for errors or misinformation that may have occurred either by my staff or me.
