Leucothoe fontanesiana
Also known as Drooping Laurel, Doghobble
Position: Semi-shade to full shade (can handle full sun in cooler climates if kept moist). Prefers acidic, well-drained soil.
Foliage: Leathery green and yellow variegated leaves up to 10cm in length, with red accents. Evergreen.
Flowers: Fragrant clusters of hanging white flowers from late Spring to mid Summer.
Height: Approx 1 to 1.5 metres. Can be kept as a hedge at around 45cm tall.
Width: Approx 1 to 1.5 metres.
