Originating in Asia, Liriopes grow in a wide range of soils.
Frost resistant.
Resists periods of dry.
Will grow in full sun and high shade but grow best in light shade with a moist fertile soil. Keep out of the hot afternoon summer sun.
They have a good drought tolerance once established and are able to grow in places many other plants often cannot.
Will grow to approximately 30cm tall by 40cm wide.
Great groundcover when planted around 20cm apart in mass plantings.
Plant 20-30cm apart for borders, edging etc.
You can plant them between paving or or scatter plant them through out your garden, rockery etc.
Adapts well to pots as well.
