Native to French Polynesia, Pittcairn Islands and the Cook Islands.
Quite drought, wind and salt tolerant.
Bird attracting.
Great for hedging, screening, pots, garden beds, rockery, etc.
Full sun to semi-shade.
Deep green leaves with red new growth.
Will also often flower sporadically at other times of the year.
