Very versatile plants for sunny indoor or outdoor gardening.
Tolerate mild frosts and long dry periods.
Called Peanut Cactus due to the resemblance to peanuts.

Fine white semi soft bristles/spines that will normally not break the skin.
Great beginner cacti for children.
Position: Full sun to semi-shade.
Foliage: Evergreen.
Flowers: Spring to Summer.
Trumpet shaped Vivid Red to Orange tinged flowers that are large (up to 5cm wide) for the size of the plants and often enmasse in display.
Height: Approx 10cm. Slow Speading and cascading.
Native Cactus Plant originally from Argentina.
