Camellia Brushfield’s Yellow Camellia japonica Flowering Plants
The plants you will receive in this listing will be 10-20cm tall, will be in individual 50mm x 70mm pots, will have established roots and will be ready to plant into your garden.
Not for WA, Tasmania, NT or outside of Australia Mate!!!
Very frost tolerant.
Do not add lime to the soil as they like acidic soil.
Position: Prefers semi-shade, with protection from the afternoon sun in Summer. Can handle full Winter sun.
Foliage: Dark green, glossy foliage remaining evergreen throughout the year.
Flowers: Masses of flowers. Winter blooms are cream, whilst Spring and Summer blooms are pale yellow that darken towards the centre.
Height: Approx 2-3 metres. Can be trimmed and trained from any height above 40cm.
Width: Approx 1.5-2 metres.
We also have both the sasanqua camellia varieties (sasanquas can grow in full sun to quite shady) as well as the camellia japonica forms (that grow best in places that are protected from the afternoon Summer sun).
