The plants you will receive in this listing will be 12-20cm tall, will be in individual 50x70mm pots, will have established roots and will be ready to plant into your garden.

 

Kangaroo Paw 'Orange Cross' x 1

Anigozanthos hybrid

A shorter-growing variety of Kangaroo Paw native to southwest Western Australia.
 
Excellent for cut flowers and for growing in pots.
 
They are drought resistant and do not like too much watering.
 
They have underground rhizomes which store water and nutrients, allowing them to tolerate long periods of dry.
 
Contrasts and highlights well amongst other colourful varieties in your garden.
 
Will attract birds to your garden.

Position: Full sun to semi-shade. In humid areas, they need to be grown in well-ventilated positions.

Foliage: Strap foliage with a clumping habit. Evergreen perennial.

Flowers: Dusky orange/yellow kangaroo-paw-shaped flowers covered in fine hairs. 

Flower clusters appear on stems rising to around 1 metre in height. 

Flowers in Spring and Summer.
