Tough and adaptable.

Quite wet and dry tolerant. Will grow in areas that receive low rainfall as per 350mm to 400mm of rain per year, whilst also growing in areas with over 1000mm of rain per year.

Frost hardy.

Its wood polishes up well and is used in furniture and flooring.

Also great to plant as a future source of firewood.

Bird attracting.

Position: Full sun to semi-shade. Suitable for a wide variety of soils.

Foliage: Grey/green weeping foliage. Evergreen.

Black/dark bark: Rugged and ridged with gnarled, fissured effects.

Eucalyptus sideroxylon rosea has red flower clusters in Autumn and Spring.

Height: Approx 10-20 metres.
