A lower growing form of the weeping bottlebrush Callistemon viminalis.

The plants you will receive in this listing will be 12-20cm tall, will be in individual 50mm  x 70mm pots, will be multi-branched, will have established roots and will be ready to plant into your garden.

Named to commemorate the landing of Captain Cook on the east coast of Australia in 1770. 

Hardy and quite fast growing native shrubs, that will give an abundance of vivid red bottlebrush flowers in Spring to Summer.
 
Drought-tolerant once established (xeriscaping).
 
 Great for also for containers, edging, rockeries, hedges, borders, screens etc.
 
This variety will grow to a height of approximately 1.5 to 2 metres tall and wide.
 
New foliage growth is pink that darkens to green with maturity.

Will attract birds to your garden.

Will grow in frost prone and coastal areas.
 
Once established, this variety will handle long periods without rain, but it will also grow well in quite wet conditions.
 
They pretty much look after themselves once established.
 
Able to withstand full sun to semi shade.
 
They will grow in most soil types.
