Fried Egg Plant 1 Hardy Trees Large White Flowers Gordonia
Profuse yellow-centred white flowers from Autumn to Spring.
Called “Fried Egg Plants” because the flowers look like fried eggs.

The plants you will receive are in individual 50x70mm pots, will be 10-16cm tall, have established roots and will be ready to plant into your garden.
10cm white flowers with prominent golden stamens.
Glossy green leaves.
They grow into a small tree to around 5 metres high and wide that creates a great shaded area to put a bench or seat under.
Able to grow in a wide range of areas including subtropical, cool/temperate and Mediterranean.
Can be lightly tip pruned after flowering to encourage density and used as borders/hedging/screening etc.
Can be trimmed hard.
Related to camellias.
Prefer slightly acidic soils.
Tolerates light frosts.
Position: Full sun to semi-shade.
Pretty good pest and disease resistance.
Native to Vietnam and Taiwan.
