Hydrangea serrata

A pretty lacecap hydrangea variety.

As with nearly all hydrangeas, the acid levels in the soil will affect the flower colour (acidic soil = blue, alkaline soil = pink). 
This variety usually leans towards the soft blue tones.

Can be grown in pots or planted directly in the ground.

Prefers semi-shade to shade, and moist soil.

Broadly ovate, toothed leaves. Foliage will often develop purple hues later in the growing season. Deciduous.

A profusion of small lacacep flower heads in Summer and Autumn.

Height and width: approx 1 to 1.5 metres.
