Blue Hydrangea macrophylla

Blue flowering Hydrangea 

A dwarf hydrangea variety.

Height and width: up to 1 metre.

As with all hydrangeas, the acid levels in the soil will affect the flower colour (acidic soil = blue, alkaline soil = pink).
This variety naturally leans towards blue/mauve tones.

Can be grown in pots or planted directly in the ground.

Prefers semi-shade (morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal).

Broadly ovate, toothed leaves. Deciduous.

Large clusters of blue / lavender mophead flowers in Summer and Autumn.
