Beautiful hardy deciduous small shade trees.
One of our most popular colourful and hardy deciduous trees.
I have seen this one survive serious droughts and neglect.
They also develop beautiful twisted trunks and attractive bark.
Position: Full sun to part shade.
Glossed foliage that can develop the yellows, reds, oranges in Autumn that see it planted in many gardens and parks around the world.
Height and width: Approximately 3 to 6 metres. Can be pruned in Winter to shape or reduce height.
Landscape characteristics: Lovely long blooming Summer flowering tree. Residential and commercial use. Lawns, patios, parking lot medians, parks, street trees.
A hardy variety that will also tolerate quite wet areas.
Can be grown coastal as long as the salt spray is minimal.
