Also known as: Bay Laurel, Sweet Bay, Bay Tree, True Laurel, Grecian Laurel
 
 
Hardy, quite fast growing bay tree plants that look good and save you money by producing bay leaves for cooking etc!
 
Many culinary and herbal uses that have been recognized and recorded throughout history.
 
An essential ingredient of the herb mix 'Bouquet Garni'.
 
Widely used in savoury cooking around the world.
 
The deep purple berries also add much flavour to dishes.
 
One tree will usually be enough for the average family's use once established.

Its Pretty golden honey toned flowers are also used in cooking
 
Can be hedged or trimmed as topiary for both the formal and informal garden.
 
Also a great addition to a herb garden due to its deep color foliage structures and height.
 
Position: Prefers a sunny to lightly shaded position.
 
Foliage: Evergreen deep green.
 
Height: Maintained at any height from 50cm to 3-5 metres.
