Parentage is thought to be Leptospermum scorparium horizontalis or Leptospermum continentale horizontalis
 

Hardy low-growing native plants.
 
Quite Drought and frost resistant once established.
 
Great gnarly twisted trunks as they mature.
 
Useful in helping manage soil erosion.
 
Great for coastal plantings as they can resist quite a bit of salt spray and hard winds.
 
Bird attracting.
 
Its dense foliage provides an ideal refuge for native birds, small mammals and lizards.
 
A wide range of uses including hedging, topiary, bonsai, rockeries, borders and pots.
 

Position: Full sun to semi-shade.
 

Foliage: Dense. Evergreen.
 

Flowers: Profuse fragrant white flowers in Spring.
 

Height: Approx 1 to 1.5 metres.
