Native to Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Yeddo is a former name of Tokyo.

I have no idea why they call it Indian Hawthorn. 
Those places are miles form the Indian tribal lands in the US.

Habit: Shrubs

Position:  Full sun, can handle quite shaded positions

White to pale pink 5 petaled flowers in spring

Foliage: Dark green oval leaves, new growth lime green

Height: Approx 1.2 to 1.8 metres

Width: Approx 1.2 to 1.8 metres

Evergreen bird attracting shrubs

Hardiness: Drought, frost and coastal tolerant

Hedgable: Yes

Uses: Screen, border, hedge, border, cottage gardens and scattered plantings.
