Beautiful white to soft pink flowers in early summer.
Part of the Honeysuckle family of plants.
Flowering: Late Winter to Spring.
White Snowberry fruit develop.
The fruit/berries are not edible.
Called Mothball Bush due to the resemblance of the white fruit to said.
Deer resistant
Native to North East America.
Will grow in a wide range of soils, including quite poor.
Habit: Shrub to approx 100cm.
Full sun to quite heavy shadeshade
Deciduous
Frost and drought tolerant once established.
Uses: Borders, hedging, pots, cut flowers, courtyard etc.
Theymake great hedges.
Prune after fruiting has finished.
They can be cut back hard and they will regrow.
