Viburnum opulus sargentii onondaga
Also known as Sargent Viburnum, Sargent's Viburnum
Family Adoxaceae 

Beautiful deciduous shrubs with maple shaped leaves that have a bronze burgundy flush of colorings when they emerge in Spring, transitioning to deep greens.

Large lacecap flower heads with white outer petals and soft pink/red inner buds/flower clusters.

Develops red berries in Autumn.

Bushy deciduous shrub with 3 to 5 lobed maple like leaves turning reddish in Autumn.

Also effectively used as bonsai plants/trees.

Quite hardy once established.

Shrubs that grow to approx 2 metres tall and 1 metre wide.

Can be cut back hard in Winter. 

Able to withstand full sun to quite shady positions.  

Will grow in most soil types.

It can be kept low or allowed to create a screen.

Works well in scattered plantings or as a contrasting border.

Grows well in gardens, pots, hedge, bonsai, topiary etc.
