Also known as Variegated Lesser Periwinkle, Creeping Myrtle

Not to be confused with the noxious weed Vinca major.

Quite hardy and fast growing groundcovering plants.

A long lasting, evergreen perennial groundcover that grows to around 10cm tall.

Will grow in shade to half sun (please keep out of the Summer afternoon sun). 

Best suited for the southern parts of Australia as it does not like the constant heat and humidity of the North.

Great for under trees, patios, hanging baskets, shade houses, ferneries and those shady places down sides of houses etc.

Grows quite thick as a ground cover, helping cover bare ground and suppress weeds.

Also great for cascading down walls, tubs, pots, uneven ground, embankments, etc.

Long living, they can be left to grow to their full spread or easily contained by regular pruning.

Grows in a wide range of soils. Add compost to all soils for faster growth, especially to sandy soils to aid water retention as well.

Long flowering through Spring and Summer with random flowers through to Autumn.

Reputed to having some herbal/medicinal application (see your doctor before administering herbal remedies).

Frost resistant. 

Rabbit resistant.
